Dalarna University

Dalarna University (DU, Sweden) is one of Sweden’s recent institutions of higher education. Its research covers technology, business, education, health, humanities and media studies. DU advances sustainable transitions through applied research and education. With the multidisciplinary research groups, DU co-develops solutions with companies and municipalities and train future-ready professionals.

By joining the Sustainnovation Hub Cluster, DU aims to scale impact across Europe by sharing testbeds and expertise in data science, circular energy and built environments, industrial engineering and management, economics, and sustainable tourism. The mission of DU is also to co-create pilots with SMEs and cities, and mobilise EU projects that turn research into market-ready innovation.

The motivation of join the Cluster is simple: accelerating a just transition by coupling research excellence with practical deployment alongside fellow members.
