European Gastronomic Innovation Nonprofit Kft.

The European Gastronomic Innovation Nonprofit Kft. (EGINP Kft.), based in Mátészalka, Hungary, serves as the European subsidiary of the World Gastronomy Network Inc. (WOGI Inc.), a U.S.-based nonprofit. EGINP Kft.’s mission is to revolutionize European gastronomy by promoting national dishes and facilitating market access for small producers - such as farmers of vegetables, fruits, meat, dairy, honey, jams, and spices - through short food supply chains. The organization prioritizes networking the European Green Deal and Farm to Fork Strategy, integrating innovative technologies like artificial intelligence, AR/VR, and the metaverse into its projects. A key focus is fostering collaboration with research and innovation entities to pool resources, amplifying societal impact through educational and awareness-raising initiatives.

EGINP Kft. leads the CYCLEFOOD NEXUS project (2026–2029), a €1.8 million, 36-month initiative under Horizon Europe’s DUT Call 2025. This project employs blockchain, AI, and AR/VR to enhance sustainable urban-rural food systems, targeting a 20-30% reduction in the gastronomy sector’s ecological footprint, support for over 500 producers, and engagement of 10,000+ participants across 28 cities. Aligned with EU strategies, it advances digital innovation and mobility. Additionally, EGINP Kft. founded the Sustainnovation Hub Cluster, a nonprofit network connecting municipalities, universities, SMEs, NGOs, and associations across Europe to accelerate green and digital transitions, facilitating joint EU projects like Horizon Europe and Interreg.

The organization supports the WOGI EuroTaste Ride as a living lab, emphasizing transdisciplinary approaches. Joining the cluster costs a one-time €500 with no annual fees, offering advocacy, funding access, and visibility benefits. Contact: info@eginp.eu. Together, we shape sustainable innovation.
