Driving Europe’s Green Transition Through Collaborative Innovation

The Sustainnovation Hub Cluster is at the forefront of Europe’s green and digital transformation, uniting municipalities, universities, SMEs, and NGOs to tackle pressing sustainability challenges. As we move into 2025, one of the most critical topics shaping our work is the circular economy - a model that redefines growth by prioritizing resource efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainable production.

Why the Circular Economy Matters

With Europe’s ambitious Green Deal aiming for climate neutrality by 2050, the circular economy is no longer optional - it’s essential. Our Cluster fosters cross-sector collaboration to turn this vision into reality. For instance, our members are exploring innovative ways to integrate circular principles into gastronomy and tourism. From zero-waste culinary initiatives to sustainable food supply chains, we’re supporting projects that reduce environmental impact while boosting local economies.

Our Role

Through workshops and collaborative research, we’re developing actionable strategies for circularity. In 2025, we plan to launch 4-6 workshops focusing on best practices, such as upcycling food waste into new products or designing eco-friendly tourism experiences. Our members also benefit from priority access to EU funding programs like Horizon Europe and LIFE, enabling them to pilot groundbreaking solutions.

Get Involved
